NetDesignKit is built by a senior network and security engineer who designs and delivers enterprise networks for a living.

The work covers next-generation firewalls, SD-WAN, network access control, campus switching and wireless, and cloud networking. Each project repeats the same questions: how big should this subnet be, will this switch power these access points, how long will this copy take. It also repeats the same documents: designs, IP plans, runbooks and handover reports.

NetDesignKit puts those answers and documents in one place. The tools are free and run in your browser. The templates are paid, and they keep the tools free.

Principles

• Private by design. Calculators run locally, so your addresses and plans never leave your machine. Lookup tools send only the name or address you look up, and nothing is stored.
• Vendor-neutral first. Templates work for any vendor. Vendor-specific guides come later.
• Shown working. Every tool explains its method and gives a worked example, so you can check the result.
